About the Course

Course Information

The Python 102 course is a practical, instructor-led online training designed to advance learners from entry-level to intermediate programming proficiency. Guided by experienced trainers, this course serves as the logical next step toward earning the PCAP™ – Certified Associate Python Programmer (Exam PCAP-31-0x) certification. Upon completing the training, each participant receives a complimentary PCAP Exam + Retake voucher + practice test, ensuring a smooth and supported path to professional certification success.

Built specifically for intermediate learners and aspiring software developers, the course focuses on the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) approach and advanced aspects of the Python language. Through interactive live sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on coding exercises, participants learn to design, develop, debug, execute, and refactor multi-module Python programs.

Our instructor-led approach helps learners gain the confidence to analyze and model real-life problems in OOP categories using fundamental techniques. Even participants transitioning from basic scripting will quickly gain the skills to handle complex programming challenges. By the end of the course, learners are well-prepared to continue their professional development and explore higher-paying roles in Software Development, Security, Networking, and IoT.

  • Master the essentials of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Work with modules, packages, and PIP.
  • Perform advanced operations on strings and character encoding.
  • Understand and implement generators, closures, and iterators.
  • Handle complex exception hierarchies and classes.
  • Manage file streams and file processing.

About PCAP Certification

PCAP™ – Certified Associate Python Programmer certification is a professional, high-stakes credential that measures the candidate's ability to perform intermediate-level coding tasks. A test candidate should demonstrate proficiency in designing and refactoring multi-module programs, as well as knowledge related to modeling problems using the object-oriented approach.

The PCAP™ certification shows that the individual is familiar with the following concepts: modules and packages, string processing, list comprehensions, lambdas, generators, and closures. It further validates skills in file processing, exception handling mechanism in OOP, and working with selected Standard Library modules. This certification serves as an interim step to the PCPP1™ (Professional) level and helps individuals stand out in the job market.
