With over eight years of experience in teaching computer science, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for IT education to the classroom. I began my teaching career at the high school level, where I taught GCSE Computer Science, before transitioning to college, where I've worked mostly with 16-19-year-old learners. My teaching repertoire includes a range of IT programs, such as BTEC IT and T-Level Digital Support Services, as well as Python programming for students from age 11 up to adults seeking career advancement.
With a background as an IT administrator and expertise in networking, I have a deep understanding of how systems work and how to troubleshoot them. I’m very hands-on and enjoy working with computer hardware, always eager to dive into the technical details. My teaching style reflects this practical approach—I believe in learning by doing (and sometimes breaking things along the way!). I’m patient with my students, making sure they understand each concept fully, and I strive to make lessons engaging and interactive to bring theory to life.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy open water swimming, reading, and cooking. These hobbies keep me refreshed and continually learning, just like my students.
